What this site is

An independent editorial site publishing travel gear recommendations and reference information about airline baggage rules. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any airline, retailer or manufacturer mentioned on it.

Airline rules and sizing information

This is the most important limitation on this page. The baggage size, weight and liquid rules we publish are compiled from the carriers' own published pages and from official sources, and every figure links to its source so you can verify it.

Airline rules change, vary by fare class, and on a codeshare are usually set by the operating carrier rather than the airline you booked with. Always check with your airline before you fly. We publish these tables so you can choose a bag with confidence, not so you can argue with a gate agent. We accept no liability for fees, denied boarding, gate-checked bags or any other loss arising from reliance on information here.

No professional advice

Nothing on this site is medical, legal or financial advice. Where we mention products like compression socks, we are describing fit and product categories - if a health question matters to you, ask a doctor. We are not qualified to answer it and we do not try.
